Our industry is redefining “mobile”. No longer limited only to communications, mobile is now a force transforming our world in an unprecedented way. Mobile connects, entertains, informs and inspires us, ultimately changing how we live and who we are. Mobile World Congress is the global epicenter of this redefinition as our participants enable, lead and accelerate it.
With nearly 1,500 exhibitors and  67,000 visitors from 205 countries in 2012, the Mobile World Congress has cemented its reputation as the world's largest mobile technology fair.
Every year since 2006, a partnering (brokerage) event has taken place at the Mobile World Congress, organised by ACC1Ó -a
department of the Catalan Government's Ministry of Enterprise and
Labour- together with a core group of partners from the Enterprise
Europe Network with the aim of helping European start-ups, SMEs
and Research groups from the mobile technology sector in initiating
transnational partnerships. In 2013 the venue will take place 25-28th February at Fira Gran Via, just
down the road from the old location, a large state-of-the-art event
space which will allow the show to grow and expand in the years to come.

In 2012, over 500
companies from 27 countries submitted almost  600 technology profiles
they were offering or seeking. Over the 3 days of the brokerage event,
approximately 1,000 meetings took place.

- small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), offering and / or looking for new technologies
